As a full time father of three, I enjoy most of my free time with my kids and my amazing wife. Cooking, Swimming, bike riding, learning new things and watching new movies is how most of our time is spent if we’re not at work or in school. I have a strong background in art as a culinary school graduate, lifelong painter and amateur photographer. I am a fan of playing and viewing just about any sport you put in front of me, combat sports being my favorite (hence the name).

10 years ago when I decided to seek help for myself I went into treatment with one belief: People like me don’t do this. To my surprise, the man who helped me, was exactly like me. This relationship, understanding the idea that “normal” is whatever you make it, and you don’t ever have to be a victim of your circumstances was what developed my interest in this field. As a man who loves cooking but hated being a cook, I jumped at the opportunity to study as a counselor and haven’t found anything thus far that I love doing more than helping my fellow man. My passion in this field is fueled by my own experience, trials and struggles, and the work I do is inspired by my beautiful family.

Over the past decade, I have worked with and assisted hundreds of male adults and teens from across the country in getting clear on what they want, identifying problems, and implementing strategies to achieve the goals they have in mind through masculinity, creativity, connection and curiosity. Everyone seeking coaching or counseling has a problem they want to fix, and I believe the solutions are already inside of us, we just need a little help sifting through it all to get to the root. As a certified Substance Use Counselor and Professional Coach with an artistic background, I do my best to stay creative, implementing Brainspotting, Art Therapy and various other modalities to provide clients with as many resources to gain insight and different perspectives on their circumstances. I believe that nobody is too far gone, it is never too late, and there is no better time than now to get after the life you’ve always wanted.
