Arthur Maglalang
Certified Professional Coach & Alcohol/Drug Counselor
As a full-time father of three, most of my time outside of work is spent with my kids and my beautiful wife. Whether we’re cooking, swimming, riding bikes, watching movies, or learning something new together, family is always at the center of my life. I have a strong creative background as a culinary school graduate, lifelong painter, and amateur photographer. I’ve always been drawn to creativity, connection, and self-expression. I’m also a lifelong sports fan, especially combat sports — which inspired the name 10th Round Coaching.
Over 10 years ago, I made the decision to seek help for myself. At the time, I believed something a lot of men believe: “People like me don’t do this.” What changed my perspective was realizing the person helping me was someone I could actually relate to. That experience taught me that healing, growth, and recovery are not signs of weakness, and that nobody has to stay trapped by their circumstances or unhealthy coping patterns. That relationship and experience ultimately inspired me to pursue a career helping other men navigate addiction recovery, emotional struggles, stress, anxiety, and major life challenges.
As someone who loved creativity but felt unfulfilled in my previous career path, I found purpose in coaching and counseling. Since then, I’ve dedicated my life to helping men develop emotional resilience, confidence, healthier relationships, and long-term recovery. My work is deeply influenced by my own personal experiences, growth, and the family that continues to inspire me every day.
Over the past decade, I have worked with hundreds of adult men and teens from across the country, helping them gain clarity, identify obstacles, and create practical strategies for meaningful change. Many of the men I work with struggle with addiction, burnout, emotional disconnection, anger, anxiety, low self-esteem, or feeling stuck in unhealthy cycles. My approach combines accountability, curiosity, creativity, and evidence-based techniques to help clients better understand themselves and move forward with purpose.
As a certified Substance Use Counselor and Professional Coach, I incorporate a variety of approaches including Brainspotting, Art Therapy, mindfulness, and other evidence-based modalities to help clients gain insight, process emotions, and develop healthier coping strategies. I believe the answers we are searching for are often already within us — sometimes we just need guidance and support to uncover them.
At 10th Round Coaching, my mission is to help men create lasting change, build stronger foundations, and reconnect with the life they truly want to live. I believe nobody is too far gone, it is never too late to grow, and there is no better time than now to start moving forward.
Stay in the fight.
